Back In The Saddle Again!!

Okay Core Client Attraction members and followers of myfitnessmarketing.com, I'm back from my honeymoon in the caribbean and ready to supercharge your fitness marketing for 2010!!

The month of December is the probably THE most important month for setting the tone for the coming year. If you've not set up your marketing and promotional calendar for the first quarter of 2010, now is the time to plan out the next 3 to 6 months of promotions. To give you a little help, here's some promotional ideas for December, January and Febuary.

1. Mail A Holiday Card To EVERY client, one-on-one or bootcamp, and make sure to include a family or friend gift certificate. Make sure to write a special and unique message inside the card, something that will encourage your client.

2. Create an 8 weight-loss challenge or 8 week bootcamp to start the 1st week of the new year. Promote with flyers and mailed campaign to all current or former clients with a 20-30% off discounted offer with a registration deadline on December 31st.

3. Start mailing all current clients, former clients, and strategic business alliances a monthly fitness newsletter.

4. The First week of the new year, call all inactive clients (6 months or longer) and ask if they would like a FREE Week of Bootcamp or 2 FREE One-On-One Sessions to get them started on their fitness goals again.

5. Stop by all of your business referral networks and drop off a small holiday gift and card. Show your appreciation for businesses that refer your clients. This may be hair salons, tanning salons, spas or doctor's offices.

6. All of your clients that referred in a family member or friend over the last year, now is the time to show your appreciation. Send a special letter or card with a small gift certificate to say thank you.

Now is the time, especially in this current economy to show appreciation and say, "Thank You", to all of your clients. Now more than ever, they need to know you appreciate them.

Best wishes for the holiday and new year,

Dr. James Roman
